EP3 Environmental (Pty) Ltd was established by Eben van Schalkwyk in 2013 and is a multi-disciplinary consulting firm that provides specialised Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) services to our clients.

Our mission is to build long term relationships with our clients in order to support them to conduct their activities and services in a sustainable manner by considering and managing their social, economic and environmental aspects.

EP3 has been involved in a wide variety of construction and other projects and has performed work in various sectors including but not limited to the following: Mining (Iron ore, Platinum), Transportation (Roads and Depots), Power Supply (Power stations & Power lines), Renewable Energy (Concentrated Solar Technology & Photovoltaic), Office Parks and Mixed Use Developments, Infrastructure projects (Bridges, Storm water and Sewerage Networks, Waste Water Treatment Works, Water Pipelines), Acid Mine Drainage (Treatment facilities), Manufacturing (Foods & Materials), and Tourism (Lodges and dams).
Professional Registration and Membership:
EP3 has an Environmental Auditor who is registered with the Institute of Environmental Management & Assessment (IEMA) based in the United Kingdom. This international registration provides EP3 with a competitive advantage and also demonstrates our high level of competence.
Employees are also registered members of professional bodies such as International Association for Impact Assessment (IAIA) South Africa and the South African Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (Saiosh) to ensure ongoing professional development and to keep abreast of legal and other developments that might affect our clients.
